For grad school, I still have to think ahead for every day, but my routine has somewhat changed. Many grad school courses are later in the day, and my classmates and I often go out after class. Additionally, I always attend art gallery and show openings which also happen in the evenings. Because of my schedule during the school year, I must transition my day makeup look to an evening appropriate makeup look. For this tutorial, I'm using all Neutrogena products to create a subtle, brown smokey eye look and flawless skin finish that lasts well through countless hours of lectures, openings, and New York City adventures.
Products used include: Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture with Sunscreen SPF15, Neutrogena Healthy Skin Blends Pure Blush and Bronzer, Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear Liquid Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF20, Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick in Soft Raspberry, Neutrogena Healthy Volume Mascara, and Neutrogena Nourishing Eyeliner in Spiced Chocolate. My skin responds well to Neutrogena (aka no blemishes) so these affordable products work perfectly together to create a beautiful look with no fuss (and yes, the tutorial below uses only the few listed products above which is also great for a school budget).
Step 1: Prep skin and moisturize with the Neutrogena Oil Free Moisture with Sunscreen SPF15. The Oil Free moisturizer hydrates skin while also acting as a skin primer.
Step 2: Apply the Neutrogena Nourishing Long Wear Liquid Makeup Broad Spectrum SPF20 - this foundation is full coverage, long lasting, and provides protection with SPF20.
Step 3: Using the illuminating Healthy Skin Blends Pure Blush and Bronzer, add a bit of subtle color to your complexion.
Step 4: Because I like multi-use products (and my wallet doesn't complain, either), I use the Healthy Skin Blends Bronzer to add a wash of bronze color to my eyelids.
Step 5: Using the Neutrogena Nourishing Eyeliner in Spiced Chocolate, create a cat eyeliner to emphasize your eyes (the Spiced Chocolate color is not too harsh for everyday, and can be smudged or re-drawn to transition to a smokey eye finish). Finish the eye look with the Neutrogena Healthy Volume mascara to add dimension to your lashes (without flaking or clumping).
Step 6: Add a pop of color to your all day makeup routine with the Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick in Soft Raspberry (aside the deliciously cute shade, the Color Stick provides hydration and protects lips).
Running around in between classes and to New York art openings doesn't leave enough time for makeup touch-ups - thankfully, in just six easy steps, Neutrogena helps create the perfect all day (and all evening) makeup look.

If you're ready to build your Neutrogena kit, keep in mind that Target and Neutrogena will host Target Beauty Concierge events at select Target locations around the country this month. Event begins August 24th, limited quantities available. Check with your local Target store for Beauty Concierge day and times.
