Own Lifting Eye Cream Review - Anti Aging Eye Cream Review

I'm always on the lookout for skincare and ways to treat my skin. While I'm still in my mid-twenties, I want to start early with anti aging treatments, but at the same time, I want to use natural products that are not harsh. Being a part of the iFabbo network, I had the opportunity to try the Own Anti Aging Lifting Eye Cream - I love discovering new brands and new products and am a big supporter of businesses confident in their products.
Own is a San Francisco based skin health company that develops unique, innovative formulas that are effective in improving skin's overall health, but all without the need for harsh chemicals. The Own Lifting Eye Cream, sold by Own Products here, retails for $23.99 - this anti aging eye cream is formulated to lift and smooth wrinkles while brightening skin.
Pros: Following through with the mission statement, Own Skin Health products are retinol free, fragrance free, paraben free, and sulfate free. Own standards inform that the creams are also certified vegan, gluten free, and cruelty free. For those with sensitive skin, looking for a great under-eye moisturizer, the Own Lifting Eye Cream would be perfect! I was apprehensive when I applied the cream, but had nothing to worry about - the cream blends in the skin easily, applies hygienically and precisely with the tip applicator, and there's no tackiness or rub-off residue.
As a quick note/aside, I always try eye creams at night when my skin is clean - I've had some creams that make my eyes water, sting my eyes, or irritate to the point of me having to wash my face (again!). My fiance sometimes sees me blinking and crying and making faces and he's so utterly confused - little does he know I would actually be trying new eye creams that clearly contain strong chemicals. So, with that in mind, no funny faces from me when I wear this Own Lifting Eye Cream - the formula is that gentle. In regard to the anti aging claims, as the cream blends into the skin, I can feel the under eye section tightening a bit - nothing painful or even strong, but definitely noticeable and skin firming.
Overall, I love the affordability of the product, the fact that it's geared toward anti aging benefits without using strong chemicals, and the fact that it absorbs fast and moisturizes fully.
Cons: There is a slight scent, similar to shea butter lotions, but the scent disappears within minutes of application - I wouldn't even consider this as a "con" but if this is an absolute deal breaker I wanted to inform our readers. Because this cream works so well as a moisturizer and leaves no white creasing as other products, I wish I could use it underneath makeup, but there is no SPF in it - that means I'm limited to using it only at night. Own actually sells more products with SPF so may have to give those a try - Own Dual Protection Day Cream, I'm looking at you!
The only reason I'm not giving this cream a full grade, is because of the anti aging claims - I have deep wrinkles under my eyes and am hoping for...well, for no wrinkles (none, I tell you!). The Own clinical results showed a 61% reduction in the appearance of crow's feet in 8 weeks, as well as a 30% decrease in the total number of wrinkles around the eye area in 8 weeks when using the Own Anti-Aging regimen. I will continue to try the Anti Aging Lifting Eye Cream because as of now, it's the only one that doesn't irritate my skin - I am hoping that with regular usage, I will be able to see more definite no-wrinkle results.
